July Product Updates: Krisp for Call Centers

This month, we’re making your calls easier and more natural. With Voice Translation 2.0, conversations flow with less delay, Accent Conversion sounds clearer, Krisp now works on more Windows devices, and agents get new tools to save time and reduce mistakes. Let’s take a look at what’s new!

• Smoother multilingual calls with Voice Translation 2.0: Voice Translation 2.0 delivers a significant boost in translation accuracy and naturalness, now with a Synchronous mode. In contrast to the existing Consecutive mode, which plays the translation after each phrase for clear turn-taking, Synchronous mode delivers translations within seconds of speech, reducing pauses and creating a more natural conversation flow.

• Clearer, more natural Indian Accent Conversion v3.7: The updated v3.7 Accent Conversion model makes agents’ speech sound clearer and more natural than ever. It reduces accent leakage and enhances voice quality, helping customers understand agents more easily and improving call flow.

• Krisp on ARM-powered Windows devices: Krisp now runs on ARM-based Windows systems, including those with Qualcomm processors. This update brings AI-powered voice features to a wider range of modern Windows devices, giving more users access to noise-free, high-quality calls.

• Voice Macros for agents in Agent Assist: Agents can now play pre-recorded messages, such as disclaimers or other mandatory prompts, during live calls, ensuring crucial information is delivered clearly and consistently every time. Team-wide, admin-recorded voice macros make it easy to comply with requirements and communicate verbatim without manual repetition. This feature minimizes errors, reduces effort, and helps agents stay focused on the conversation.

• Tailored Voice Translation experience with volume control: Admins can now fine-tune both the original and translated speech volumes in Voice Translation. This allows teams to choose whether the original speech is played at a lower volume alongside the translation for better context, or muted entirely for a fully translated experience. This flexibility makes conversations smoother, easier to follow, and adaptable to different team needs.
