This release introduces feature in Early Access, Accent Reduction, along with a range of improvements designed to make your Krisp experience smoother and more secure.

Enhancements

  • Accent Reduction (Early Access): Accent Reduction, currently in Early Access, is aimed at reducing and softening difficult-to-understand elements of the Indian accent while keeping the speaker's natural voice characteristics. The result? Clearer, more efficient conversations without losing the speaker's unique inflections. Stay tuned for updates as we refine this feature.

  • Admin control for Accent Localization modes: Admins can now choose whether agents use the Default or Accent Reduction modes, or they can opt for “User choice,” allowing users to switch between modes directly from the app settings. This added flexibility gives admins better control over the user experience.

  • New voices for Indian English accent pack: We’ve expanded the Indian English accent pack with two new female voices and three new male voices, bringing the total to 10 voices (5 male and 5 female). These voices offer more variety for call centers looking to match agents with a voice that best suits your business needs.

  • Admin control for widget content: Admins now have the option to enable widget content protection for agents, ensuring that the Krisp widget is invisible to screen-capturing tools during screen sharing or recording. This extra layer of protection helps safeguard sensitive information from being captured accidentally.

  • Krisp discontinuation on macOS Monterey: With Sequoia OS now live, Krisp is no longer supported on macOS Monterey. In alignment with our policy to support only the latest three public Mac systems, Krisp will prevent installation on Monterey for both Arm and Intel, ensuring you are getting the best Krisp experience on the most current and compatible systems.
