Krisp 2.56.4 for Call Centers and Enterprises

This release introduces a new, improved version of Accent Conversion, new Admin controls, usability improvements, and key enhancements to Krisp's audio experience. Additionally, we've resolved several issues to enhance app stability and overall performance.

New version of Accent Conversion (previously AL)

The latest version of Accent Conversion significantly enhances speech accuracy and naturalness, providing clearer, more seamless conversations.

Advanced Admin controls and other improvements

• Admin control over mute functionality: Team Admins can now disable the mute button across the Krisp app and widget. This will prevent agents from muting their Krisp Microphone thus muting themselves in the calling application ensuring continuous audio transmission without interruptions.

  

• Hide 'Sign out' option for restricted teams: If the 'Quit' button is disabled for a team, the Sign out button will also be hidden for a more streamlined experience.

• Call stats in Copilot: When enabled by Admin, users can access call stats in the Widget after each call for key insights into their performance.

  

• Restrict open text fields in the ‘Report a Problem’ dialog: Admins can now disable open text fields in the ‘Report a Problem’ dialog. When enabled, the summary field will be locked and file uploads will also be restricted.

Live Interpreter improvements

• Play Interpreter prompt manually: Agents can now manually play the interpreter prompt with a button click if a customer joins mid-call.

  

• Admin control over available languages in Live Interpreter: Team Admins can now configure and customize the list of available translation languages for agents.

  

Audio and performance enhancements

• Sync mode for Krisp Speaker on Windows: Volume adjustments made through the system controls now correctly sync with the Krisp Speaker, preventing differences in audio levels.

• Consistent original speech volume in Live Interpreter: To improve the listening experience, the original speech now plays at a lower, steady volume, making it easier to distinguish from the translated speech.

• Speaker pass-through mode: Krisp now allows Speaker stream pass-through when Speaker Noise Cancellation is turned off. This enhancement ensures high-quality sound transmission while preserving the original speaker output, providing a more natural listening experience.

Bug fixes

• Fixed an issue where Krisp was crashing for some users: Users reported Krisp crashing and turning off unexpectedly. We've identified and fixed the issue to ensure stable performance.

• Fixed an issue where Krisp was hanging: The app would sometimes become unresponsive- this has now been addressed for a smoother experience.
