Krisp 2.59.5 for Call Centers and Enterprises

AUTHOR: The Krisp team

This release brings new ways to support agents during live calls. We’ve introduced AI Chat into Agent Copilot, launched a brand-new, redesigned Krisp Widget, and enabled smarter transcript handling between Agent Copilot and Live Interpreter.

You’ll also find improvements that make Krisp more stable, responsive, and easier to use.

Introducing Krisp AI Chat

  • AI Chat in Agent Copilot for real-time support and guidance: AI Chat gives you quick, context-aware responses during calls. It can also answer general questions using built-in knowledge. Each call has its own chat session, and you can expand or collapse the view as needed, all without leaving the app.
As an Admin, you can create and manage your team’s custom knowledge hub, so AI Chat can deliver answers tailored to your workflows and use cases.

Feature and performance improvements

  • New widget experience with expanded view: The updated Krisp widget now includes an expanded view that brings together all live call features—Agent Copilot, Live Interpreter, Accent Conversion, and AI Chat—in one place. It opens automatically when a summary is available and shows everything from real-time transcripts to status updates and end-of-call reports.
In collapsed view, the widget hides the mute button when Krisp is idle and only displays the expand button when live features like Live Interpreter, Agent Copilot, or AI Chat are active, keeping the interface clean and focused.

  • Smarter transcript handling across Agent Copilot and Live Interpreter: Agent Copilot and Live Interpreter can now run in parallel, with transcripts automatically collected and merged based on timestamps. This ensures a full conversation history is captured, even if features are toggled mid-call.

  • Improved guidance in case of unsupported audio devices: To reduce audio issues caused by incompatible headsets while using Background Voice Cancellation and Accent Conversion, Krisp now alerts you when your headset doesn’t meet the required 16kHz sampling rate. You will be guided to adjust settings or use different devices—helping ensure consistent call quality.

  • Improved Performance modes for better call quality: We've optimized performance modes to ensure smoother, more consistent calls across your team. As an Admin, you’ll benefit from a balanced setup without the risk of overloading system resources. All users previously on Best NC mode are now automatically set to Auto for the ideal mix of quality and efficiency.

Bug fixes

  • Smoother call transitions: Resolved an issue that occasionally caused a brief freeze when starting or ending a call, ensuring a more seamless experience.

  • Improved device compatibility: Fixed a crash caused by certain undetected audio devices, helping maintain app stability across a wider range of setups.

  • Reliable app reopening on Mac: You can now close the Krisp app with Cmd+W and reopen it without issues.

  • More flexible file uploads: File formats with uppercase extensions (like .JPG or .WAV) are now correctly accepted when submitting feedback.

  • Stability on app launch: Addressed a rare crash some users experienced when opening the app, improving reliability from the start.
