Krisp 2.60.6 for Call Centers and Enterprises
This release introduces upgraded Accent Conversion for clearer, more natural speech, along with improvements across other Krisp products, including setup guidance and enhanced live-call support through Knowledge Chat and Live Interpreter. It also brings important bug fixes to ensure smoother and more consistent performance across the app. Let's dive in!
Feature improvements and enhancements
Accent Conversion(AC) v3.5: The new version brings major improvements in speech clarity, naturalness, pronunciation, and voice stability, while better preserving the speaker’s original voice.
Onboarding videos to support Krisp setup: We have added a prompt in the Krisp app that guides to short onboarding videos showing how to set up Krisp with various calling apps. Users can revisit these videos anytime from their web account by clicking “How to set up Krisp?”
Source links for Knowledge Chat responses: You can now see exactly which sources were used to generate each Knowledge Chat response. Sources are highlighted in the message and lead to the original document, giving quick access to the full context.
Knowledge Chat response ratings: You can now give a thumbs up or down on Knowledge Chat responses. This simple feedback helps us improve the accuracy and usefulness of future replies.
Mute Live Interpreter’s audio during calls: You can now mute the Live Interpreter’s live translated speech of customer audio, giving you faster control over your call while still accessing the transcript.
Improved volume levels for Live Interpreter audio: The volume of both the customer’s original speech and the interpreted translation is now higher for better clarity during calls.
Enhanced ringtone detection for softphones: The ringtone detection model has been updated to better recognize common softphone ringtones and special notification sounds, ensuring more reliable call detection.
Bug fixes
Retry button for After-call Summary: For cases where the call summary was not being generated in some scenarios, we have added a retry button for manual regeneration.
Fixed suppressed agent voice at call start: Resolved an issue that could cause the agent’s voice to be suppressed at the beginning of the meeting in specific scenarios.
Correct enforcement of Accent Conversion modes: Users can no longer switch to the other AC mode if it’s Admin-enforced.
Expanded Widget view opened on the correct screen: When using two desktops, the expanded Widget view will now open on the same screen as the Widget, ensuring a more intuitive and consistent experience.
Fixed 'Jump to bottom' button behavior in Live Interpreter view: The button now consistently appears and functions as expected, allowing users to quickly navigate to the latest messages during live sessions.
Corrected Krisp Settings behavior: The General tab in Krisp Settings no longer appears when all options in that section are Admin-enforced, keeping the interface cleaner and more intuitive.
