This update brings new language detection for Live Interpreter, enhanced Admin control for Knowledge Chat, and smarter behavior for the expanded Widget view. We’ve also made behind-the-scenes optimizations to Accent Packs and introduced a usability update to the mute function. A set of important bug fixes rounds out the release to improve stability and call accuracy.

Feature improvements and enhancements

  • Automatic language detection for Live Interpreter: Krisp can now auto-detect the customer’s language at call start and during the call, helping you quickly activate Live Interpreter in the correct language. This feature is available when enabled by the Team Admin.

  • Expanded Widget view opens automatically: If the Widget was in expanded view when your previous call ended, it will now open that way by default when your next call starts, saving you clicks and keeping you focused.

  • Admin control for Knowledge Chat availability: Admins can now decide whether Knowledge Chat is available to agents. This setting is ON by default and can be managed from the Admin Portal under SettingsFeaturesAgent Assist.

  • Cleaner mute controls while using Live Interpreter: The mute button is now removed from past conversation tabs, keeping the interface cleaner and avoiding any confusion during call reviews.

  • Smarter Accent Pack loading: Krisp now loads only the Accent Pack specified in your profile during initialization. Additional packs are loaded on demand if needed, reducing unnecessary memory use.

Bug fixes

  • Browser login now triggers correctly: Resolved an issue where the browser login page wouldn’t open in some cases.

  • Correct language data in Live Interpreter sessions: Resolved a bug that caused incorrect language data to be sent during Live Interpreter sessions.

  • Accurate call statistics reporting: Addressed a bug that caused call stats to display incorrect values for some users.
