Krisp 2.62.4 for Call Centers and Enterprises
This release introduces Latin American and Pakistani English accent support in Accent Conversion, helping agents increase speech clarity and support better customer communication. We’ve also added support for ARM-based Windows devices, bringing Krisp’s voice AI to more systems. You’ll find improvements across Accent Conversion and Live Interpreter, along with a small bug fix for smoother, more reliable performance.
Feature updates and key enhancements
LatAm and Pakistani accent support in Accent Conversion: Accent Conversion now supports Latin American and Pakistani accents, helping agents sound clearer and more natural during calls while preserving their speaking style. You can configure available source accents for your team from the Accent Conversion settings in the Admin Portal.
ARM support for Windows devices: Krisp now runs on ARM-based Windows devices, such as those with Qualcomm processors. This brings our real-time voice AI to a broader range of modern Windows systems.
Streamlined Accent Conversion testing and reporting flow: After testing your voice with Accent Conversion, it’s now easier to report issues directly from the same screen. You can also add a voice recording to your problem report, re-record if needed, or submit without recording—all within a cleaner, more intuitive interface.
Improved language picker for Live Interpreter: When choosing languages for agent or the customer, you will see a search field that appears automatically helping set up faster and with less scrolling.
Smarter desktop shortcut handling in Windows installs: When deploying Krisp via MSI, as an Admin, you can use a setup flag KP_SKIP_DESKTOP_SHORTCUT=1 to skip creating a desktop shortcut during installation. If you previously deleted the Krisp desktop shortcut, we’ll respect that choice and won’t recreate it during future updates.
Improved update reliability on Windows: Krisp now checks for pending Windows system restarts before installing updates. If a restart is needed, there will be a prompt to restart the device first. This helps prevent failed installations and potential driver issues, ensuring Krisp updates run smoothly every time.
Bug Fixes
Live Interpreter translation progress bar displays correctly: The progress bar under transcription translation bubbles now appears correctly during overlapping speech in Live Interpreter calls.
