Krisp 2.66.5 for Call Centers and Enterprises
This update strengthens Accent Conversion and Voice Translation. Accent Conversion now delivers a 10% performance boost and adapts automatically based on language, while Voice Translation is easier with improved language setup, flexible selection, and auto-stop for idle sessions.
Let’s take a closer look.
Feature updates and key enhancements
Accent Conversion gets a 10% performance boost: We’ve upgraded the Accent Conversion feature with performance improvements. This helps agents communicate even more confidently and ensures a better experience for both sides of the conversation.
Accent Conversion can automatically turn on for English calls: With the new Autoswitch mode, Accent Conversion will automatically turn ON when an English call is detected. For non-English calls, it will stay OFF not to disrupt the call flow. As an Admin, you can select the mode tailored to your team workflows from the Admin Portal → Team Settings → Features → Accent Conversion.
Select the Voice Translation languages directly from the Widget before turning translation ON: This saves time by cutting the number of clicks and settings windows they need to open.
Synchronous mode on Voice Translation now supports any language pairs: In Synchronous mode, agents can now select any language pairs in cases where neither the agent nor the customer is speaking English. This enables translation between two non-English languages, unlocking more flexible multilingual support.
Voice Translation sessions now auto-stop after extended silence: Krisp now automatically ends Voice Translation sessions if no speech is detected for 5 minutes. This prevents idle sessions from continuing unnecessarily, ensuring cleaner call handling.
Bug fixes
Fixed a failed launch case for Windows machines: We fixed an issue where Krisp wouldn’t start if there was an empty Krisp folder in the “Program Files” directory. The app now launches reliably regardless of leftover or placeholder folders.
