This release introduces Customer Accent Conversion to help agents better understand customers during live calls, along with clearer device state indications so agents always know what action is required.
Feature updates and key enhancements
Customer Accent Conversion for improved understanding: Customer Accent Conversion helps agents better understand customers during live calls by softening incoming accents in real time. It dynamically adapts to accent variability, while preserving the customer’s natural voice and tone. It works alongside Customer Noise Cancellation to keep incoming audio clear.
Agents can enable it anytime from the Krisp app or Widget. As an Admin, you can can manage the feature availability in the admin portal.
Clearer audio device status messages for faster troubleshooting: Krisp now provides clearer and more informative audio device states in the app, helping agents quickly take the right action to ensure Krisp remains active during a live call. For example, "Not in use" is replaced with "Not selected in CALLING APP" to better explain microphone or speaker status. If multiple apps are running, the status indication will prioritize the apps where an action is required.
