Krisp 3.3.4 - AI Meeting Assistant improvements
This release brings enhanced flexibility and control over how your meeting data is stored, along with improvements to the in-person recording experience that help you stay organized and in control, whether you're meeting online or in person.
New features and improvements
New on-device storage option for meeting data: Business plan users can now store transcripts and recordings locally. You can choose between Cloud and On-device storage, set a custom folder path, and access saved files with one click. On-device storage supports English transcription and audio recording only. Bot recordings remain cloud-based. This option offers a higher level of privacy for those who need it, as audio stays on your device and isn’t sent to Krisp servers.
Meeting storage indicators in the app: The AI Note Taker line now shows a visual indicator for your selected storage option (Cloud or On-device), so you always know where your data is going.
Recording options now adapt to your storage type: When On-device storage is selected, only transcription and audio recording are available. Screen recording is disabled and marked with a tooltip in the app and widget.
Bug fixes
Accurate tooltip behavior for Background Voice Cancellation (BVC) icon: If you disable the Accent Conversion feature, the tooltip related to BVC incompatible devices will no longer appear incorrectly.
Widget UI fixes for Accent Conversion edge cases: Resolved layout glitches in the Widget when Accent Conversion is enabled, but the feature is toggled off.
System restart flow fixed: Restarting your Mac will no longer be blocked if the Krisp desktop web is open.
