Krisp 3.4.4 – AI Meeting Assistant Updates

This release brings new capabilities to Krisp’s AI Meeting Assistant, including Filipino accent support, smarter startup preferences and easier team switching for a smoother experience.

New features and improvements

• Filipino Accent support in AI Accent Conversion: Krisp now supports converting speech with a Filipino accent to a more neutral version. This feature complements the existing Indian accent support.

  

• Flexible app launch behavior: A new “Open meetings window at launch” setting lets you choose whether Krisp opens as a full desktop window or starts minimized in the tray.
  

  

• New setting in the app lets you notify others that Krisp is being used to transcribe and take notes by automatically posting a customizable message in the meeting chat (currently supported in Zoom only; more platforms coming soon).

  

• Easier team switching in the desktop app: Switching between teams is now possible directly from the app, mirroring the web experience.

Bug fixes for Windows

• No more forced desktop icon after updates: Krisp will no longer automatically create a desktop icon with every update, giving users the option to keep Krisp running quietly in the tray.

• Smarter auto-update handling during system restarts: Krisp now detects if a system restart is pending and pauses the auto-update process accordingly. After six failed attempts, a notification is shown, and manual update errors are clearly communicated to avoid confusion.
