Krisp 3.5.5 - AI Meeting Assistant Updates
This update introduces the Meeting Companion for agenda, notes, and controls, adds smarter auto-updates that won’t interrupt active sessions, lowers the minimum call duration to 30 seconds, and brings dynamic onboarding based on selected features. We’ve also fixed issues with an audio delay at call start.
New features and improvements
Meeting Companion: A dedicated space for agenda, notes, and meeting controls. It opens automatically when you join a meeting via Krisp or start Live recording. For ad hoc sessions, it shows a “Meeting in progress” banner that you can open from the banner or Upcoming list.
Includes Agenda, Notes, collapsible Meeting Controls, bottom bar with duration, note-taking status (Pause) and talk time
Navigation: Back action, Active call banner on exit for quick return
Auto-update no longer interrupts active sessions: Krisp will now pause automatic updates whenever a recording is playing, a meeting is in progress, or the dashboard is in focus. This prevents disruptions during ongoing activity.
Minimum call duration lowered to 30 seconds: The threshold for saving meetings has been reduced from 2 minutes to 30 seconds. This applies to both online and in-person meetings, allowing shorter sessions to be captured and available in the dashboard.
Preferred pronouns in AI summaries: You can now set a preferred pronoun (He/Him, She/Her, They/Them) in Account Settings → Profile. AI-generated English summaries and notes will respect your choice when referring to you. If none is set, Krisp will use its best guess.
Better control over Krisp Speaker as system default: Krisp Speaker can now be set as the default audio device on Windows.
Viewer counter in meetings: You’ll now see how many people have viewed a meeting. Clicking the counter shows the list of identified viewers, while anonymous views are counted but not displayed
Bug fixes
Audio delay at call start: Resolved a problem where, during the first few seconds of a call, Krisp Mic audio was not transmitted and the widget was not visible.
Krisp menu freeze on Mac: Fixed an issue where clicking the Krisp logo in the top bar occasionally produced no response, preventing access to settings and controls.
