Krisp Win Enterprise 24.Q2 - Enhanced user experience
We're excited to announce some significant updates in our latest release that aim to enhance your experience and provide advanced capabilities. Here’s what’s new:
Improvements
Transition to WaveRT driver: We re-engineered our Windows driver to enhance performance and strengthen the customer experience. This new architecture, designed for the current and future Windows environments, ensures seamless integration, making upgrades less intrusive for our customers.
New Inbound model: A new NarrowBand Inbound model architecture is now integrated, adding support for multi-voice streams, and resolving the suppression issues of the current model, particularly on degraded streams (e.g. on landline calls).
Promote Krisp Tray icon on Windows 11: The Krisp icon will automatically appear in the notification area of the taskbar immediately following the installation of the app. This ensures the user knows the app is running and can access it easily from the taskbar.
Removed launch at startup option from Preferences (on by default): Enhances the user experience by reducing the time and effort needed to launch the app manually.
Each of these updates is designed with you in mind, aiming to provide a smoother, more efficient user experience.
Bug fixes
Mic volume control selector shown empty after restarting Krisp: Resolved the issue where the mic volume control selector appeared empty upon restarting the application.
Audio degradation on 16kHz microphone: Fixed the issue causing audio degradation on 16kHz microphones, ensuring better audio quality and performance.
